Alpha Epsilon Honor Society
Iowa PI Chapter
The purpose of the Alpha Epsilon Honor Society is to promote the high ideals of the engineering profession, to give recognition to those agricultural engineers who manifest worthy qualities of character, scholarship, and professional attainment, and to encourage and support such improvements in the Agricultural Engineering profession that make it an instrument of greater service to mankind.
The Iowa Pi Chapter of Alpha Epsilon holds activities throughout the year, including an annual banquet. The society also is working on construction of a large emblem for display outside of Davidson Hall.
Members are automatically selected by a committee based on engineering ability, scholarship, character, leadership, and personality. Seniors must be ranked in the upper 1/3 or their class and have a cumulative grade point of 2.6 or higher
Graduate Students must have completed at least seven hours of graduate coursework with a minimum cumulative gradepoint of 3.25
