Dr. Nir Keren and the ISU student chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers have won the Outstanding Service Award for the third consecutive year. The award includes a plaque and a $500 check.
The ASSE student chapter's purpose is to educate students on current safety issues, to learn more about safety through peer contact, and to network with safety professionals throughout Iowa. The national ASSE is currently focusing on fostering future safety and health professionals, conducting applied safety research, and expanding accreditation of safety and health curriculums.
Congratulations to all!
