Iowa Farm Safety Council a not for profit organization, is a special blend of farm operators, industry leaders, insurance providers, safety educators, medical providers, and others coming together to make Iowa a safer place to work and play. The council is a unique, one of a kind organization, that prides itself in having a finger on the pulse of the safety network. The Iowa Farm Safety Council is established to be a recognized and respected agricultural safety and health organization that makes a difference! The Iowa Farm Safety Council, with its fifty plus years history, needs you to help spread the word and add another voice for rural safety.

Each year the Iowa Farm Safety Council in cooperation with the Iowa State Fire Marshal and with the sponsorship of other Companies and organizations, invite elementary school children in Iowa to participate in a poster contest to promote fire prevention. From all the posters submitted, thirteen are selected to illustrate a fire prevention calendar for the following calendar year. View the cover and the posters for each month for 2006.
