Electric Power and Electronics for Agriculture and Industry

Course Description: Cr. 4. Prereq: 210 and Phys 112.  Basic electricity. Electrical safety, wiring, 3-phase service, controls, and motors for agricultural and industrial applications. Planning building electrical systems. Electronics to sense, monitor, and control mechanical processes; semiconductors, digital logic circuits; speed, pressure, position, temperature, and moisture sensors. Nonmajor graduate credit.
