Current Project:

Non-Basin Technologies for Open Feedlot Runoff: Demonstration, Implementation, and Modeling.

Isha is currently researching the use of alternative technologies to control runoff from beef feedlots. She evaluates the performance of the use of Vegetative treatment systems (VTS) to control runoff from six large CAFOs in Iowa. Her major responsibilities for the project include rainfall triggered runoff sampling using ISCO samplers, groundwater and surface water sampling and data analysis and interpretation.
