As an undergraduate research assistant I work on numerous projects that need an extra hand. Most of my time has been spent on the following two projects:

Quantification of Gaseous and particulate Emissions from Mechanically Vented Poultry Housing

My contribution to this project is to freeze-dry and grind samples to ensure that the samples are homogenized. I also help with sample analysis.

Biogas Methane Potential from Animal Waste and Ethanol Byproducts

I am responsible for feeding and making sure the methane-producing bacteria are healthy on a daily basis.
