My primary responsibilities include work on the Waste Runoff Modeling Project with my partner, Dan Anderson. I am translating 3 models (ELG, VTA, and VIB) from an application called Model Maker to Java. I am developing a new Java Swing user interface for use with the models. The three of them will be deployed as individual executable jar files.

I am also involved with a project for the National Pork Board providing access to a database housing research article abstracts. These abstracts are kept in an SQL database and are accessed through a web application written in ASP.NET. I have been responsible for finishing the website that was started by a previous employee as well as communicating with the Pork Board to make any changes or updates as requested.
