Primary Research Project:

Non-Basin Technologies for Open Feedlot Runoff: Demonstration, Implementation, and Modeling

John's primary responsibility is to work on fixing 3 computer models. These models are the ELG model, the VTA model, and the VIB-VTA model. Each model incorporates different feedlot runoff control systems. Previous reseach found that the VTA and VIB-VTA model  did not accuratly simulate monitored performance of VTSs. 

In addition to working on the models, John also manages the Ag Waste Management website.
