Primary Research Project:
Non-Basin Technologies for Open Feedlot Runoff: Demonstration, Implementation, and Modeling
John's primary responsibility is to work on fixing 3 computer models. These models are the ELG model, the VTA model, and the VIB-VTA model. Each model incorporates different feedlot runoff control systems. Previous reseach found that the VTA and VIB-VTA model did not accuratly simulate monitored performance of VTSs.
In addition to working on the models, John also manages the Ag Waste Management website.
