Research Capabilities Description:
Mobile Air Emissions Monitoring Units have been developed for use at mechanically ventilated poultry houses. The units contain the necessary monitoring and air handling equipment, computer hardware and software, and calibration supplies for use at a site. Samples from representative locations can be pumped into the monitoring unit for analysis. The units allow us to continuously monitor pollutant emission rates from poultry houses as well as calculate and provide baseline emissions data.

Pollutant Measurement Capabilities:
Ammonia
Carbon Dioxide
Hydrogen Sulfide
Non-Methane Hydrocarbons
Methane
Particulate Matter-
Total Suspended Particulate
PM 10
PM 2.5
