Jessica is pursuing Master of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering. The goal of her research is to identify and evaluate economically promising configurations of systems of production, harvest, storage, and processing of kenaf fibers and by-products . Jessica also works serves as Biobased Product Specialist for the USDA BioPreferred program at the Center for Industrial Research and Service. Her previous experience includes a co-op in manufacturing engineering quality assurance at Maytag Appliances-Amana Refrigeration Products, a year of voluntary service at Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa, and a Bachelor of Sciece in Mechanical Engineering also from Iowa State.
