LeQuetia is a George Washington Carver Doctoral Fellow researching the social and academic factors associated with the success of students of color in science, technology and engineering based programs at a predominantly white institution.

LeQuetia received her bachelors and masters degrees in Industrial Technology with an emphasis in Training and Development from Iowa State University. She is currently the Technology Learning Community co-coordinator, Freshman/Transfer Seminar instructor and Agricultural Systems Technology academic advisor.

With a dedication to the professional, personal and academic success of students and experience in multicultural student affairs, LeQuetia’s professional goal is a career in academia that will enable her to specialize in issues that address the disparity that exists between majority students and their "minority" counterparts in the non-traditional STEM fields of science, technology and engineering in higher education.
