The Air Dispersion Laboratory (ADL) is a full-scale test chamber designed to test livestock and human ventilation systems in a simulated arrangement. ADL can test and monitor fan, inlet, and controller performance simultaneously to assess how well a ventilation system controls the environment. ADL is flexible enough to test most all fan and inlet diffuser arrangements used in both libestock and office/industrial situations.
The objective of this research laboratory is to provide a method for manufacturers to test fans, inlets, and controllers under controlled laboratory conditions. ADL is specifically designed to test “ventilation system performance,” not just individual components such as fans and inlets.
