The Forest-to-Farm (FTF) bioreactor projects aim to ease bioreactor adoption by expanding the list of potential local suppliers who can provide various fill media for denitrification bioreactors, a conservation practice designed to reduce nitrogen loading from tile drainage systems. These fill media include conventional woodchip mix, shredded woods (note: need to be free of debris), and whole corncobs. The list also includes wood log suppliers and processors who may process the logs into desired bioreactor fill media.
